HERALDS CAMPAIGN
SLMV The Consort
Eselemvi is the Congruent hermaphrodite God/dess of Community, Mercy and Compassion.
SLMV - 'The First to Listen' in Daeogram, also commonly known as 'Elsemave' is the carer of all. While their wife, NFSS, witnessed the sufferings of the people on Noth, they were the first to hear their woes, pleas and their prayers. They were the prime arbiter in pleading to the Trinium to find their way to Noth through the Space In-Between, and free the subjugated there.
SLMV was the care for others that pushed through fear of an indomitable enemy, and the desire to make a better world for one's kin at their expense of their own.
It is through SLMV that after the war, the people learnt how to be 'a people' together. In an uncaring universe, people must join each other for protection and comfort; existence is only made worthwhile through the care of others.
SLMV's devotees have also fought to protect others; some of her most famous Heralds have not been carers, but great warriors. Fighting not for justice or great cause, but to protect their own from the rot of the world; SLMV knows and teaches, in an uncaring world ‘That with compassion, must make an end for the compassionless'.
SLMV's current apparatus is through the Merse Collective, who's servants provide medical aid, community support, and comfort for people's mental and physical needs. It has long been rumored that the Merse serve the god in some other, yet unknown means.
SLMV alongside NFSS, blessed Elimarah and Sodeyn at their deaths with the ability to see the future, and were instructed to seek out and destroy a threat to all of existence lurking somewhere on Noth.
As Matron of the Merse, Elimarah and Sodeyn used their considerable power to leverage their own faction within the Merse seeking out what would later be known as Second Revelation.
This led Elimarah to recuit a mercenary band to escort her to the Fallen Litany, where she suspected a base of operations of theirs lay. Her mercenary band was successful in disrupting their activity there, but Elimarah lost their life; their ability to portend passed onto their resurrected friend, Grippsly.
In a rite during the Siege of Palisades, a Merse cell led by Paedra ne' Eidern renounced SLMV, instead declaring for Elimarah as their divine guide, with Grippsly her vengeful instrument of the mortal world.
