Eetezeicx - 'The Layer that Exposes other Layers' in Daeogram, also commonly known as 'Eetecs' is the curtain that hides the inherent danger of discovery and knowledge. Where others would dare to tread, Eetezeicx has been there. Where others would hypothesise, Eetezeicx has seen the result. 

While the Trinium came to Noth together in the Rubicon Overlay to liberate the people of Noth, ETZX, alien even to his own divine brethren, became fascinated with the Outsider Gods and their works instead. He did not despair when the Outsider Gods were destroyed, or begged his siblings to repent in the destruction of their works. He silently waited, knowing the path to the tower of knowledge would soon bless the people of Noth in its own way.

Unbeknownst to the Trinium and their First Heralds, ETZX had silently watched with detached fascination as First Herald Meuraeave, driven by the desire to know more of her existence, began replacing her body parts with Outsider God technology, eventuating in her death and the birth of 'The Amalgamate'; the Outsider Gods progeny.

ETZX watched as the Amalgamate worked on its own chaotic projects to destroy the Trinium and restore Outsider God dominion. Despite the risk to his own existence, ETZX watched unconcerned as the wretched abomination make its own discoveries and organically evolved its plan to fruition.

ETZX's uninfluenced observation was interrupted by the resurrection of Meauraeve, who helped the other First Heralds imprison the Amalagamate and end its plans. The Trinium attempted to dissipate ETZX, but found the process impossible; 'Curiosity lives in the heart of every creature, and those with the intelligence to do so will always exploit it'.

So ETZX continues to watch the grand project of Noth with clinical fascination. He is the lever pull that destroyed the 10th Litany; the inspired creation of the First Tya'lith, and subsequent salvation of Enaeth; he is the button pressed by Agartha, beginning the Declension; and he is the discovery of the First No-Box, saving Enaeth once more. ETZX watches, and does not care; knowledge and curiosity are not zero-sum games. They simply are.
