The Preachers of Old Maysuria
The Preachers of Old Maysuria were nomadic mercenaries and peace officers. The movement has since been resurrected unwillingly by Herald Eeder Othon as 'The Faithful'.
Under order of the Ordinant Maginate, the Preachers were philosophers of justice and law for the highly law-oriented city of Maysuria. They would travel across the Eridinea dispensing advice and making judgements on decisions that required an ambivalent, but ethically principled, third-party.
After the sacking of Maysuria by King Hierern II, the Preachers reformed under the leadership of then Preacher Eeder Othon, as the militia leaders of the displaced Maysurians.
After Eeder ascended and executed Hierern II, he became the Ordinant Maginate of Maysuria and repurposed the Preachers in rebuilding their city. This dream of a new Maysuria ended when the Violate King marched on the city, and annihilated it with a terraformer, crushing the city and population into a monolithic cube.
Scattered, consumed by the horrors of Maysuria's destruction, the Preachers briefly reformed to join TAERA and fight against the Violate King. After the war they became truly nomadic, and the dream of a new Maysuria died with their wanderings; Their only connection now their dedication to helping and protecting the lost, helpless and wounded wandering the twisted landscape of the frontier.
Despite no one seeing a Preacher for many years, many a traveler has stumbled upon their Maysurian Glyphs in the wilderness, and close inspection reveals a cache, a hideaway or a warning of danger, an act of kindness in the new lawlessness of frontier Enaeth.

In rendering assistance to Yeor's Road Project, Second Sunrise were given intel of a 'Preacher' hidden within a nearby complex, occupied by two Violate Bastards. This Preacher had inspired or recruited a number of young men within, forming a faction known as 'The Faithful' of the Preacher.
Vaxis and Mhoram encountered one member of the Faithful, a young man named Enkier navigating behind the walls of the complex. Ffamran and Kovan were given message of a 'sermon' to be conducted by the Preacher in two hours, and gave them the level and room number where it would be held.
This turned out to be an entrance to the hideout of the Preacher, revealed to be Herald Eeder himself, wasted away from alcohol and depression. He revealed he had survived the Annhiliation of Maysuria, but succumbed to the hopelessness of ever restoring order to the now chaotic world that surrounded him. Eeder was coerced by the group to take a stand, shamed by Elimarah’s fearless conduct to take up arms against the Bastards.
His faithful begin moving through the tower, and with Second Sunrise's lead, the Bastard's rule was overthrown and the Complex liberated. Inspired by Grippsly's resolve, Eeder announced his intent to muster his Faithful and join the party in rescuing Elimarah, suspected to be held within the Fallen Litany.
The Faithful participated in the assault on the Fallen Litany, securing the main entrance of the temple while Second Sunrise snuck into a side entrance. The Faithful then covered Second Sunrise during the three day retreat to Palisades. Upon arrival, Eeder elected to part ways, and with the Faithful seek out surviving members of the Preachers of Old Maysuria and begin bringing back law to a lawless land.
