Born during an eclipse Sunnivah's birth and shapeshifter nature were considered bad omens as fourth daughter of King and Queen Evordeihn. For fear of the public outrage at a Shapeshifter in the royal family, Sunnivah was smuggled out of the castle 'for her health' to recover on an estate for advanced medical treatment.

Thus Sunnivah did not have much to do with her family for her early years, growing close bonds with her Merse nannies and carers, who were commanded to help Sunnivah 'control' her abilities so she could safely return home.

Despite her unusual upbringing, Sunnivah did not suffer from the same distant upbringing of her siblings, and grew up a curious and caring individual. She was also incredibly lonely; having no relationship with her family, and now far away from her former carers. Hungering for any form of attention, Sunnivah enhanced her 'mask' to be as alluring as possible to others. Soon this quiet woman became sought out by an army of suitors, Sunnivah enjoying twisting these men to her whims, making more and more outlandish requests for even just an afternoon with the princess.

One such moment led to her ascension, where a crazed suitor lost his mind, killing her and himself in a moment of passion-driven insanity. Sunnivah was thrown through the rubicon, seeing an empire she led, infatuated with her divine mandate to rule.

Now a Herald, Sunnivah overshadowed her family, and through them seized control of Kerebrihn. Her destiny never manifested, as the Violate King sacked Kerebrihn and slaughtered her family. Sunnivah was only spared by her gift, and through gritted teeth, married the King to ensure her safety. Being kept a political prisoner for 2 years, Sunnivah was able to escape west, and used her gift to manipulate her way into the Barony of Voltaine. When letters arrived from Regina, Sunnivah was the first to convince the others of the strength in this great alliance; Sunnivah only seeks the liberation of her future empire, and the complete annihilation of the Violate King himself.
